FORCITE MK1 SPEAKER RELOCATION KIT

INSTALLATION GUIDE

PLEASE WATCH THIS VIDEO BEFORE INSTALLATION

STEP 1

Prepare helmet for installation by removing the chin curtain and cheek padding 

 

Then remove both speakers from their pockets and carefully unplug them

 

STEP 2 

Remove speaker pockets by carefully unpicking the thread underneath with a sharp object, whilst pulling the pocket outwards with enough tension to reveal the next thread. Work your way around until you fully remove the pocket, repeat on other side

 

STEP 3

Carefully apply one 3M adhesive ring on each speaker driver. Ensure both speaker drivers are clean and dry from any oil or residue, DO NOT peel the blacking at this point

 

STEP 4 (Donut Only)

Carefully create a very small hole in the side of your leather donuts with a sharp tool. Then carefully thread the speaker connector through the hole and pull the wire through

 

STEP 5 

Remove the backing of the 3M adhesive previously applied to the speaker driver and fit your chosen cover onto the speaker, firmly pressing down to ensure the adhesive bonds to the cover.

 

STEP 6

Ensure the area of the removed speaker pockets is clean and free from threads. Then apply the large velcro patches as shown. 

 

STEP 7

Apply the small velcro patch to your speaker driver. This should fit perfectly at the back of the speaker. Press down firmly to ensure the adhesive bonds to the speaker

 

STEP 8

Carefully reconnect the speakers to your helmet and conceal the connectors, then attach the drivers to the large Velcro patch

 

STEP 9

Reinstall your cheekpads and chin curtain, ensuring the speaker wires aren’t exposed. Fine tune speaker position according to personal preference.
