Forcite Labs opens at the Australian Motorsport Innovation Precinct

Forcite takes another step in becoming a world leader in motorcycle technology as we open Forcite Labs. The R&D centre is based within the Australian Motorsport Innovation Precinct (AMIP) at Sydney Motorsport Park, a high-tech cluster of automotive manufacturers. As the makers of the world's first mass-produced smart helmet, the Forcite MK1S, we've always been driven by our passion for pushing the boundaries of technology. With the establishment of Forcite Labs at AMIP, we can continue to develop unparalleled smart helmet technology and offer a venue for customers that is second to none.

Unveiling Forcite Labs: A Vision Becomes Reality

Nestled within the heart of AMIP, Forcite Labs stands as a testament to our commitment to innovation. This cutting-edge facility serves as our design and testing headquarters, where we're not just creating products but shaping the future of motorcycle technology. This partnership with AMIP is more than a collaboration; allowing our team to work with the best and brightest minds Australian motorsport has to offer.

"Being in a smart precinct on the track is a thrilling opportunity for our company," Alfred Boyadgis, one CEO and Cofounder, shares. "Forcite Design Engineers will collaborate with the industry's best, testing our technology on a world-class track. This will undoubtedly accelerate our innovation journey, bringing us closer to pioneering breakthroughs in rider safety and event broadcast."

A Shared Vision for Progress

From the very beginning, our DNA has been infused with motorsports. The Forcite MK1 was tested on riders competing in Australian Super Bikes - with a tonne of changes made as a result of its on-track performance. We took all those insights to build the MK1S and an R&D pipeline of racing helmets. Just as Forcite’s sponsored racers strive for the perfect lap time, our design engineers aim to set new benchmarks in safety, performance, and connectivity for motorcyclists. And it’s not just for R&D. Forcite has already collaborated with fellow Sydney Motorsport Park company, MotoSchool which provides coaching for motorcycle riders. Their coaches ride out on the track with their helmets, film the students and then back in the classroom watch the footage of the ride to provide pointers to their students.  Our collaboration with AMIP and its remarkable ecosystem, allows us to design, build and then test on track in one pace.

"We're not just here to innovate; we're here to redefine the very landscape of motorcycle technology and bring Australian design to the world stage," Julian Chow, our Co-Founder, affirms. "Forcite Labs provides us with the perfect environment to push the envelope, to experiment, and to craft design solutions that blend seamlessly with the world of motorsports."

A Glimpse into the Future

As we stand on the threshold of a new era, Forcite Labs is poised to be a beacon of innovation, not only for us but for the entire motorsport community. Our discussions with the ARDC and their technology partners are already paving the way for groundbreaking on-track testing of broadcast capabilities. The potential to shape the future of rider safety and event broadcasting is immense, and we're determined to seize the opportunity. Natalie Turmine, the Chair of the ARDC, emphasises how AMIP will drive innovation at every turn.

"By offering a dedicated on-track centre for innovation, education, STEM and motorsport skills training, precision engineering and safety technology, this precinct will create opportunities that will benefit not just the motorsport industry but every road user,"

Officially opened by the Minister for Music and the Night-time Economy and Jobs and Tourism, John Graham said the precinct will be a driving force for the night-time economy, innovation and jobs.

"This precinct will be a driving force for the night-time economy, innovation, and jobs. Keeping the best in the business here in Western Sydney, we will help create the smart jobs and technology of the future, which will fuel our economy and further support an already hugely popular sport that’s attracting visitors day and night to this first-class circuit," Minister John Graham highlights.

With engines roaring, ideas igniting, and leadership support, we're not just participating in the race; we're setting the pace.
